Community Needs Assessment meetings

The Bellbrook Lions Club is holding a series of Community Needs Assessment meetings to help determine the community’s needs and ways it can help meet them.

The club will be holding the 7:30 p.m. meetings, which are open to the public, with leaders of organizations from the community at the Lions Club Center on Wilmington-Dayton Road at the intersection of Conference Road.

The meetings will be: January 8: Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District - Jeff Stewart, executive director; January 22: City of Bellbrook & Sugarcreek Township – police and fire departments; February 5: City of Bellbrook - Mark Schlagheck, city manager; March 5: Sugarcreek Township - Barry Tiffany, township administrator; March 19: Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce - Chris Ewing, executive director; April 2: Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Family Resource Center - Carolyn Destefani, social service specialist; May 7: Community Needs Assessment Wrap-up Meeting.

On March 1, the club will have an information table at the Pancake Breakfast, Blood Drive and Basketball Tournament at Stephen Bell Elementary School and April 26-27 it will have an information table at the Bellbrook Sugar Maple Festival. DIANA BLOWERS, CONTRIBUTING WRITER
