Coroner report released on body of Richard Russell

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tennessee -- The medical examiner has released his report following the autopsy on the body of Richard Russell of Bellefontaine. Russell's body was found a week ago in Chattanooga by men hunting for scrap metal. The coroner says Russell's body showed signs of several skull fractures, extensive bruising of the face and a single stab wound to the chest. Police are still trying to find the body of Russell's wife, Gladis. A suspect in the death of the Russells, Sam Littleton, is in custody in West Virginia. Littleton was the subject of a massive manhunt after the body of his girlfriend's daughter was found in the basement of his home. She also died from stab wounds according to coroners' reports. Richard and Gladis Russell's car was found in the parking lot of a Walmart in Princeton, West Virginia, and within 24 hours Littleton was captured behind the store in a wooded area. Right now, .Littleton is fighting his extradition to Ohio on charges in the murder of Tiffany Brown. He has not been charged at this time in connection with the deaths of the Russells.
