Creation Museum worker struck by lightning while on zip line

A man was struck by lightning on Wednesday while on the zip line at the Creation Museum in Boone County, according to WCPO.

Workers were clearing the zip line when they heard a loud boom. The person was struck on the attraction around 1:19 p.m. Emergency crews were on the scene at 1:45 p.m. to administer first aid, according to WCPO’s report.

The victim was conscious and complaining of tingling fingers.

He was transported to an area hospital, according to a Creation Museum spokesperson.

The zip line attraction, with 23 lines and 10 sky bridges, opened at the museum in mid-June.
