Fire at Fairborn apartment complex damages unit

UPDATE @ 1:10 p.m.: 

Firefighters were able to quickly contain a fire that broke out in a Fairborn apartment complex Friday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched to the apartment complex in the 2100 block of Beaver Valley Road around 12:30 p.m. and initially reported smoke from the building.

Investigators said the blaze was contained to the bedroom of one unit and damage was only sustained to that unit.

No injuries have been reported.

Firefighters have responded to reports of a fire in an apartment building on Beaver Valley Road in Fairborn Friday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched to the building in the 2100 block of Beaver Valley Road and reported smoke coming from the structure.

There have been no initial reports of injuries.
