Crews clear crash that left I-75 northbound closed for hours

I-75 northbound has re-opened.

UPDATE @ 7:32 a.m.:

Crews are working to tow the vehicles that were involved in the crash on I-75 north near Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, our crew on the scene reported.

Our crew said at least four vehicles were involved in the crash.

There is currently no word on when the highway will re-open, but crews are working to clear the scene.

UPDATE @ 3:30 a.m.:

I-75 northbound is blocked near the area of the crash, our crew reported.

The ramp from Dryden Road to I-75 northbound is also shut down, our crew said.

Montgomery County dispatchers did not have any additional details about the crash.

INITIAL REPORT:

We are hearing reports that up to three medics have been called to the scene of a crash on I-75 northbound near Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

Initial scanner traffic indicates that as many as four vehicles are involved and one may have flipped over.

We have a crew on the way and are working to learn more.
