Fire at Burger King in Riverside causes shut down of restaurant at least for tonight

Workers saw smoke and dialed 911, a Riverside fire official tells us. No one was injured.

A Riverside fire crew arrived, saw smoke coming from the structure, shut down the business and checked the building.

Crews from Huber Heights, Fairborn and Beavercreek were called to assist, though none of those crews was needed as it turned out.

The restaurant, 4876 Airway Road, will remain closed at least until a safety inspection can occur.
