Traffic is being rerouted onto Gettysburg Avenue to the east and Infirmary Road to the west.

Police are asking anyone who may seen the incident to call the police department or Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, at 225-4357.

FIRST REPORT

U.S. 35 East and West at Liscum Drive is being shut down because of downed wires that keep traffic signals and signs suspended in the air.

Dayton police appear to be closing Liscum Drive also. There are no reports of any injuries.

We’re hearing that a semitrailer snagged the wires and brought them down. The semi is no longer on scene.
