Dayton Dragons, Declare Worship to host concert and celebration

The Dayton Dragons and the Declare Worship Community, a local group of church and community leaders, are holding a concert Sunday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field, according to a release.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Dayton Dragons Box Office, with $1.00 from each ticket donated. Ticket proceeds from the concert will support both Rebuilding Together Dayton and a recovery scholarship fund.

Two local bands of musicians from churches across Dayton are leading the concert, along with a citywide gospel choir of more than 100 voices, read the release.

This is the 14th concert for Declare Worship Community since 2014.

“We have been in communication with Fifth Third Field management and leaders across Greater Dayton for over a year to plan this weekend. Seeing the support from church, community and city leaders has been overwhelming,” said Caleb Ingram, executive director of Declare Worship Community.
