Deputies: Woman partially ejected in Darke County crash

A Bradford woman was partially ejected from her minivan this afternoon when she crashed into a guardrail.

Deputies and medics were called just before 2:50 p.m. to the single-vehicle crash on Ohio 121 north of U.S. 36. The driver, 26-year-old Chelsea L. Lear, was flown to Miami Valley Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Preliminary investigation shows Lear veered her blue 2002 Oldsmobile van off the right side of the roadway, over corrected and struck a guardrail. She was the only person in the van.

The crash remains under investigation.
