During February, HVEO patrols resulted in 17 additional citations being issued, according to a township news release.
"Most of the additional citations were for speed and seat belt violations." said Sgt. Wally Stacy, HVEO grant coordinator for the township. "One of the violators was a repeat seatbelt violation, receiving his second under this grant program. Speed and failing to buckle up are two main factors in traffic crashes in the township."
