“We’re going to extend it for another week,” Parks and Recreation Director Alicia Eckhart said.
Eckhart says the sprayground will remain open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Sunday, Sept. 22, but that could change depending on the weather.

“I don’t expect us to go past September, but if it’s still in the 80s the following week, we would keep it open,” she said.
City officials said the cost to keep the sprayground open is minimal due to it using a sensor to control the water, so none is wasted.
