Families of Addicts Rally 4 Recovery draws hundreds downtown

Hundreds of people gathered today at Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton to hear messages of hope surrounding the opioid crisis that gripped the region.

The fourth annual Families of Addicts Rally 4 Recovery underway from 3 to 6 p.m. provides information about addiction and mental health disorders, resources available and celebrates how recovery is possible.

Speakers include former addicts and Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.

Families of Addicts is a nonprofit organization that serves five Ohio counties: Clark, Darke, Miami, Montgomery and Shelby.
