Dobbins said he knew he wanted a basement in the new house, especially since that is where he and his family went for safety when the tornado his last year. They all escaped unharmed.
With the potential for severe weather arriving with Spring, Dobbins said he now looks at dark clouds a little closer.
He said he’s learned material things can be replaced and life goes on.
