Jirka said that dispatchers received a report just before 6 a.m. Saturday from an employee at Burger King reporting smoke in the building.
Police officers who reached the scene first reported white smoke coming from the roof of the building, and when fire crews arrived they opened up the roof and found the fire inside.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, Jirka said.
