UPDATE @ 7:30 a.m.:
A Dayton home will need to be demolished after a fire caused significant damage to the structure Tuesday morning, according to firefighters.

Crews were dispatched to the area of Sheridan Avenue and Watts Street around 6:10 a.m. and reported smoke and flames coming from the back of the house, according to emergency scanner traffic.
Investigators said two occupants inside the house were able to evacuate and were not injured.
A preliminary cause of the fire was unknown and still under investigation, firefighters said.
