Four smoke, CBD shops deemed nonessential, ordered to close in Montgomery County

Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County ordered four more businesses to close Thursday after deeming them nonessential per Gov. Mike DeWine’s stay at home order.

The four businesses include the following:

• 70’s Rock Shop, 300 N. Main St., Union

• Elite Smoke Shop, 29 Alexandersville Road, Miamisburg

• Rich’s Tobacco Shop, 2050 E. Stroop Road, Kettering

•  Your CBD Stores, 5820 Wilmington Pike, Centerville

“Your business is classified as a nonessential business,” read a letter signed by Health Commissioner Jeff Cooper. “You are required to immediately cease operations under the director’s order until further notice.”

Activities to maintain basic business operations can continue, but the stores must continue to follow social distance measures.

Public Health has closed at least 16 businesses since the state’s stay at home was issued.

Businesses include tobacco and smoke shops, comic book stores, gaming shops, CBD stores and adult novelty stores.
