Greene CATS, the County public transportation agency, will discuss its 2016 budget during its next meeting scheduled for today.

Single airmen can enjoy early Thanksgiving meal
The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Chapel is sponsoring an unaccompanied airman’s Thanksgiving Dinner for single airmen, as well as for the families of deployed service members, at the Community and Airmen Center on Thursday.
Attendees can enjoy an early Thanksgiving dinner with their Air Force family from 5 to 7 p.m.
Senior leadership from across Wright-Patterson, including Col. John Devillier, the 88th Air Base Wing and Installation commander, will be serving the meal. STAFF REPORT

Gallery to hold auction featuring local artists
Local artists of the X*ACT Art Gallery Co-Op will be holding an art auction at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at the X*ACT theater and community arts center, 45 E. Second St.
The event, planned by the gallery to coincide with Small Business Saturday, will feature more than 40 pieces of art that will be sold to the highest bidder. The pieces, with regular prices ranging from $20 to over $500, will be displayed prior to the auction in the gallery’s lobby.
A preview of the items to be auctioned will be held in the gallery from noon until 1 p.m. A silent auction featuring other pieces, as well as items donated by theater and gallery sponsors, also will be held from noon until the auction’s conclusion. Photos of the art for sale will also be posted at www.XeniaACT.org.

Christmas concert set for Dec. 6
Cedarville University will present a Community Christmas Celebration at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in the Jeremiah Chapel at the Dixon Ministry Center, 251 N. Main St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The free Christmas concert will feature the university’s choral and instrumental ensembles performing classic carols and holiday favorites. There will be a special performance of the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.
