Thomas was struck by a vehicle traveling on U.S. 42 near West Krepps Road just after 6 p.m, while operating a riding lawn mower.
The driver of the car was cited with failure to assure clear distance.

Officials with Ohio State Highway Patrol say Ronald W. Thomas, 65, of Spring Valley was treated for non-life threatening injuries on Sunday evening.
