Happy’s Pizza provides food for first responders, DP&L workers

Thousands are turning out to help victims of the Memorial Day tornadoes and restore power and water services, and the owners of Dayton Happy’s Pizza have decided to help the helpers.

Happy’s Pizza franchinsees Wally and Eddie Yasso will provide pizzas and wings tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. to first responders at Trotwood Fire and Rescue Services on Little Richmond Road.

They will also offer all first responders as well as all Dayton Power & Light workers one free lunch or dinner, starting today and going until Sunday June 9. Dayton fire, EMT and police and DP&L employees should just show their badge or ID to get the free meal at Happy’s Pizza on Salem Avenue.

The Yasso brothers previously donated pizzas to the clean-up effort at nearby Horizon Science Academy-Dayton High School.
