- Dayton: Residents of the city of Dayton can put the Christmas trees out on their normal trash day at the same location (curb or alley) where they put trash container for collection.
- Centerville: Christmas trees will be collected through Jan. 10. Customers should place trees without decorations at the curb. The tree pickup is done by a separate truck the same day as waste collection. Trees are turned into mulch, which is later used on city properties.
- Vandalia: The City has a recycling program for the trees. All residents are asked to bring their tree to a lot at the Vandalia Sports Complex on Stonequarry Road. The lot will accept trees through the first two or three weeks of January.
- Kettering: Residents can place live Christmas trees at the curb on your regular collection day. Please make sure to remove all ornaments, lights and tinsel. Trees must be cut to sections less than 6 feet in length. Waste Management will collect Christmas trees through January 15, 2019.
- Montgomery County: Free Christmas tree disposal for Montgomery County residents is offered at the solid waste district in Moraine. The trees can be dropped off at the yard waste pad.
- Bellbrook: Residents can put their live Christmas trees our with their regular trash service during the month of January. If the tree is six feet tall or larger, customers need to cut the tree in half.
