There are few things better than eating pizza to help out a great cause.

The Gem City Market will take over Old Scratch Pizza for one night, Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 5-10 p.m.

The market, a new food cooperative planned for Salem Avenue in northwest Dayton, will help abate a community food desert.

Old Scratch Pizza will donate 10 percent of all sales that evening to COOP Dayton to support the market.

All December long is Cones For A Cause at Old Scratch Pizza with 100% of the donation going to the market.
