HIV positive prostitute picked up again

Police have arrested a woman on prostitution charges, her second arrest since November of 2009.  She has tested positive for HIV.  Tiffany Anderson is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $500,000 bond charged with felony prostitution.  She was picked up in a sting operation.  Police say most prostitution related charges are misdemeanors, but since Anderson is HIV positive the charges are elevated to a felony.  Police say as of March there have been 49 confirmed HIV positive prostitutes in the city of Dayton.  Anderson was sentenced to 1 year in prison followed by 3 years of supervised parole following her previous conviction.
