Industrial accident traps man for over 90 minutes in Celina

Firefighters freed a man after his arm was trapped in a forklift for over 90 minutes at a Celina business Tuesday night.

Around 9:25 p.m. the Celina Fire Department was dispatched to Rubber Recycling Technology at 441 Grand Lake Road in Celina on a reported industrial accident.

The man’s arm was trapped in a forklift mast and was freed by firefighters after an extrication that took 97 minutes, Celina Fire Chief Douglas Wolters said in a news release.

The man, who was not identified, was transported by a medical helicopter to an unspecified hospital trauma center.

The condition of the man was not released.
