Jeep, possibly stolen, crashes into Dayton building

Police in Dayton are investigating after a white Jeep Grand Cherokee plowed into a brick building in the 700 block of Xenia Avenue.

Witnesses tell us the two occupants bailed from the vehicle and ran away after the crash, which happened around 2:22 p.m.

Police tell us they believe the vehicle is stolen and officers tracked down two people who are being detained as persons of interest.

The collision has made the detached garage unsafe and it is being cordoned off from the public.

Police said the vehicle was not insured and neither is the building.

No one was injured in the incident.
