Breakfast will be provided at the forum, which is 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at MillerCoors, 2525 Wayne Madison Road. Brewery tours are available afterwards.
“We will also engage some of the Butler County people about what they’re doing and the synergistic things we’re doing in collaboration with that,” said Sharon Howard, a spokeswoman for the coalition.
Jim Leftwich, coalition president and chief executive officer, will update attendees on jobs created this year, recent wins such as WilmerHale, an international law firm bringing 200 jobs to Dayton, activity at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Greene County and the H20pen campaign formed by the Water Roundtable to attract companies to the area, Howard said. Wright-Patterson is the largest single-site employer in Ohio, she said.
Other speakers on Friday include Greg Jolivette, Butler County commissioner, Mark Koch and Jackie Ponder of MillerCoors and Bill Triick, president and chief executive officer of The Chamber of Commerce Serving Middletown, Monroe and Trenton.
The coalition targets 13 counties, including Butler County. Six to seven forums are held each year in different areas. The next forum is Oct. 27 at the Warren County Career Center with Congressman Mike Turner.
“What we try to do with these forums is we try to reach all of our counties,” Howard said.
