Jobs program available to low-income teens

DAYTON — Teens looking for work in a summer jobs program for those in the low-income bracket must apply by April 8, according to the Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services.

The department’s Summer Youth Works Program offers on-the-job training at stores and other businesses, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and government agencies, said Lucious Plant, work force development administrator.
