The restaurant and market would occupy about 4,000 square feet of the shopping center, and it would have a drive-up window, Monaghan said.
“We’re excited,” Monaghan said. “We need more of these kinds of things in this area.”

Jack Kuntz, Clayton’s economic development director, said the restaurant must obtain approval of the conditional use in order to operate because that is required for all restaurants operating a drive-through window. He praised the concept.
“Anytime you have a unique restaurant idea in a community that is looking for diverse culinary options, it’s a good thing,” Kuntz said. “The people will appreciate another restaurant option.”
