A teen was injured in a shooting Sunday night in Harrison Twp.
The shooting happened at the Creekside Townhomes in the 1900 block of Palisades Drive around 8:40 p.m.
Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area on a possible shooting, but did not locate a shooting victim, according to a release.
In a 911 call obtained by this news organization, a neighbor told dispatchers that she not only heard the gunshots, but seen a bullet hole.
“There’s a bullet hole in my laundry room”, the caller said.
The shooting happened in an apartment when a bullet went through a wall into a neighboring apartment, striking the teen in the shoulder, according to statements made to deputies.
The 14-year-old victim was taken to Dayton Children’s Medical Center by a family member with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, the release stated.
Deputies are still trying to determine who fired the shot that hit the teen, according to the report.
