4 juveniles injured in crash near Franklin

Four juveniles were transported to area hospitals after a two-vehicle crash on state Route 123 in Warren County Thursday morning, according to state troopers.

The crash was reported at state Route 123 and Robinson Vail Road, about two miles south of I-75, around 8:15 a.m.

State troopers said a car was at fault in the crash when it came to a stop at the intersection. The driver of the car told investigators they thought the intersection was a four-way stop.

A truck attempted to avoid the stopped car but crashed into the car and a barrier off the roadway.

A 16-year-old who was a passenger in the pickup truck, and three other juveniles who were passengers in the car were all injured in the crash and were transported to Atrium Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions were unknown however state troopers said none of the injuries were serious.
