Leadership changes announced at Ghent Manufacturing

LEBANON — Ghent Manufacturing announced, Thursday, Aug. 26, the appointment of three leaders and a reorganization designed to bring the business closer to the markets it serves.

G. Mark Leasure, son of founders George and Mary Alice Leasure, was named CEO of the company. Janet Collins was named president for the Visual Communication Products Group and John Rouse was named president of the Furniture Products Group.

Founder George Leasure was named Chairman of the Board.

“Both Janet and John bring unique skills and experiences needed by each of these businesses,” George Leasure said. “I’m thrilled they have accepted the challenge to provide leadership to our business into the future.”

Ghent Manufacturing, which produces bulletin boards, chalk boards, white boards, and display cases and other display products, will reorganize its business model into two major product groups — visual communications products and furniture products.

Leasure said separating into two groups will allow focus on distinct product categories and prepare the organization for a solid future in its Lebanon home-base.

Ghent employs more than 100 people in its Lebanon headquarters.
