Lebanon City Council is scheduled to consider an agreement to provide water and sewer service to Highland at Heritage Hill, located south of the city limits in Union Twp. The services would be provided without annexation into the city, which is typically required by Lebanon.
The city would charge the users higher fees than those paid by residents. The developer for the 43-home development previously opposed by the city would install extension of the sewer line and pay for installation of a sanitary sewer main as directed by the city.
The city opposed the development when it would have been served by an on-site sewer system. The City of Mason has agreed to allow Lebanon to provide the services although it is within Mason’s service area.
Council is also scheduled to consider wholesale purchase of wholesale electricity for five years and a $1.1 million contract for construction of an electric substation.
The council meets for the work session at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 50 S. Broadway in Lebanon. STAFF REPORT
