A local animal lover and his wife are now owners of a new 2013 Fiat 500 after winning the Fetch a Fiat and Help Fido raffle from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and Bob Ross Fiat.
Winner Michael McCullough reportedly bought the ticket as a Christmas gift for his wife. He got the call after the drawing Saturday afternoon at the Bob Ross Fiat dealership in Centerville and learned he had the winning ticket.
Tickets were available to purchase at $50 each until midnight Friday.
Participants had a 1 in 1000 chance to win the car.
Proceeds from the event benefited HSGD, a donations-dependent "no-kill" animal welfare agency, according to a release from the nonprofit organization.
