Local mother prays for son’s safe return

A local mother said she is happy to learn that the women in Cleveland were found alive. However, Anita Ping, said she wishes her missing son would also be found alive.
In 2002, Donald Ping, 42, of Dayton, disappeared after he left his job at Elder-Beerman on Philadelphia Drive.
Co-workers said they last saw him walking to a bus stop, but no one knows if he made it to the bus stop.
Anita Ping said she is still hopeful that her son is alive.
“The pain and agony that these people have been going through all these years has been tremendous and I’m just so happy for them. I wish it were me,” she said.
Police said there have been no arrests in the Donald Ping’s disappearance.
