1. Say goodbye to the name Time Warner Cable

Charter Communications has begun notifying customers in southern Ohio that it has acquired Time Warner Cable. Charter is intending to phase out the Time Warner Cable name and market its services and products under the Spectrum brand.

3. Local drug trade

Dayton has been labeled as the country's worst spot for opiate overdoses, and cartels are using a variety of methods to ensure an uninterrupted flow of drugs. "Whether it's U.S. Mail, FedEx, UPS, it's coming in in every facet you could possibly imagine," said Montgomery County Sheriff's Capt. Mike Brem, the commander of the bulk task force.

Drug dealers are getting creative in how they get their products into the Dayton area, local law enforecement officers say. Dolls have been recovered in Dayton with cocaine in them, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

4. Restaurant returning to Monroe

Shanae Revels is intending to open a restaurant with a familiar and popular name: Red Onion Bar & Grill. Revels is aiming for to open the restaurant June 12 at 214 S. Main St.

Art of Harry Potter Camp

The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is hosting a Harry Potter Camp Monday thru Friday this week. Kids are learning astronomy, potions and defense against the dark arts under the enchanted ceiling.
