A mailbox was reportedly blown up on Neal Pearson Road Monday afternoon and sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
Deputies responded to the home in the 3100 block after receiving a report that someone used an explosive to blow up the mailbox.
“Part of the explosive was still at the scene and was collected as evidence,” deputies wrote in a report.
The incident was reported around 5 p.m.
Deputies did not say whether any arrests have been made.
