A major ramp at I-70 and State Route 48 will close on Friday. As the Interstate 75 rebuild through downtown Dayton continues, ramps, lanes and exits are closing periodically during overnights, so be alert for reroutes. Here are the construction zones for the week of June 1.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
• I-70 eastbound between I-75 and SR 202, Overnight lane closures June 1 at 10 p.m. through June 2 at 6 a.m. One lane will remain open to eastbound motorists.
• SR 48 ramp to I-70 westbound, ramp closed June 5 through Nov. 5. The official detour is: US 40 to SR 49 to Brookville Salem Road to I-70 west.
• U.S. 35 between James H. McGee Boulevard and Third Street, lane closure June 2 at 6 a.m through June 3 at 6 a.m. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
• SR 4 between I-75 and Stanley Avenue, daily lane closures June 2 – 3 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• U.S..35 westbound ramp to I-75 southbound, ramp closure June 1 – July 3 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. The official detour is: U.S. 35 west to I-75 north to Main Street to I-75 south.
• SR 48 ramp to I-70 eastbound, overnight ramp closed June 6 at 7 p.m. – June 7 at 10 a.m. The official detour is: U.S. 40 to Airport Access Road to I-70 east.
• I-70 eastbound and westbound between North Dixie Drive and Taywood Road, nightly lane closures June 5 – 7 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. This work will move traffic to the newly constructed inside lanes of I-70.
• I-70 between Airport Access Road and SR 48, lane addition project. Two lanes open in each direction. Motorists will encounter barrels and construction in this area.
• I-675 south between Wilmington Pike and S.R. 725, nightly lane closures through June 30 between the hours of 8 p.m and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open to southbound motorists.
• SR 48 between Wampler Avenue and Westbrook Road, daily lane closures April 20 through Sept. 30 between the hours of 9 a.m and 3 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-75 north and south at the U.S. 35 interchange, intermittent nightly lane closures through June 20 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• U.S. 35 east and west at I-75 overpass, intermittent nightly lane closures April 19 through June 20 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-75 southbound ramp to U.S. 35 eastbound, ramp closing through Oct. 31. The official detour is: I-75 south to the U-turn lane at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit to I-75 north to U.S. 35 east.
CLARK COUNTY
• I-70 between Enon Road and U.S. 68, Lane addition project. Two lanes are open in each direction. In some areas, three lanes are open in each direction.
DARKE COUNTY
• SR 571 between Motorcycle Drive and McMecham Road, road closed through June 5. The official detour is: IN 28/SR 571 to IN 32/ SR 47 to SR 49.
MIAMI COUNTY
• I-75 south ramp to CR 25A near Troy, ramp closed through Sept. 4. The official detour is: I-75 south to SR 41 to I-75 north to CR 25A.
• SR 589 at US 36 in Fletcher, road closed through June 22. The official detour is: SR 55 to SR 235 to US 36 to SR 589. *SR 589 will be open to local traffic between SR 55 and the southern corporation limit of Fletcher.
• U.S. 36 between North Lost Creek-Shelby Road and Casstown-Sidney Road in Fletcher, road closed through June 22. The official detour is: I-75 south to SR 55 east to SR 235 north.
• Miami Shelby Road between Miami River Road and River Road, bridge closed through July 31. The official detour is: Miami River Road to Lockington Road to River Road.
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY
• SR 245 between Stevenson Road and Brush Lake Road, road closed June 5. The official detour is: Eastbound: SR 507 to US 68 to SR 296 Westbound: SR 296 to US 68 to SR 507.
