Make Lily's Bistro's holiday dishes in your own kitchen

We've got the best holiday present for the food lover in your life. And best of all, it won't cost you a cent, though maybe a little time in the kitchen.

Lily's Bistro has released its first annual Holiday Sides and Cocktail Recipe Book, which is 12 pages of recipes straight from the restaurant's kitchen, including customer favorites like their Cavatappi Mac and Cheese, the Cucumber Lime Gimlet gin cocktail, and the unique and delicious banana nut bread compound butter.

It's the perfect gift to either present in its full form to your foodie friend, or use yourself and surprise your dinner guests with fresh Lily's fare, made in your own home. They'll be swearing you just grabbed takeout from 329 E. Fifth St.

"If there's anything that's as enjoyable as eating during the holidays, it's probably cooking," said Emily Mendenhall, Lily's owner and operation manager. "These are a few of the things that we love to make at the restaurant and at our homes."

You can grab the Recipe book at Lily's Bistro, as well as select locations around the region. In case you don't have time to craft the recipes yourself, included is a mighty convenient order form.

If you were looking for another excuse to stop by Lily's this week, this is it. We anticipate that these books are going to go fast, so don't wait to grab yours!
