Man convicted of plotting to kill girlfriend

A man accused of planning to kill the mother of his child has been found guilty of four murder conspiracy counts.

A Montgomery County Common Pleas jury found Samuel Stein guilty of two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder. The verdict was returned this afternoon.

The Miamisburg man told his former roommate of his plan to kill his former girlfriend. The roommate, fearing for his life, told Miamisburg police about Stein’s plan.

Police arrested Stein in March at his place of employment.
