A white Chevy Malibu traveling east on New Carlisle-Saint Paris Pike was slow or stopped for an unknown reason when it was struck from behind by a Ford Focus, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.
The Malibu's male driver was hurt and taken to the hospital, according to the patrol.
The Focus driver, a 28-year-old female, was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
