MASON — The Rave Cinemas across the street from Kings Island is closing today.
A recorded message on the theater’s phone line said “We regret to announce that Thursday Dec. 29 will be the final day of operations for Rave Cinemas at Kings Island.”
The recording indicates that Rave’s other theaters, including ones in West Chester, Milford, Huber Heights, Beavercreek and Miamisburg will remain open.
The theater was originally operated by Showcase Cinemas and was sold to Rave, along with three other theaters in the Dayton/Cincinnati area in December 2009.
