Massive potholes along U.S. 35 cause problems for drivers in Dayton

Multiple cars were along the shoulder from Interstate 75 to U.S. 35 after their vehicles were damaged as a result of hitting potholes early Friday.

A total of three cars were stopped with their hazard lights flashing on the shoulder of eastbound U.S. 35 near Perry Street as of 6:15 a.m.

There are reports that the number of disabled vehicles that were on the side of the road was higher earlier this morning.

Cones are along the ramp, and some inside the massive potholes, from southbound I-75 to eastbound U.S. 35 as a way to alert drivers of the potholes.

Tow trucks are periodically removing the vehicles.
