After three months of construction, the Lebanon McDonald’s reopened for regular business at 6 a.m. Oct. 27.
The new restaurant, located at 650 E. Main St. in Lebanon, featured a new design and more convenient services, according to its owner and operator, Ed Wernet.
“We’ve had a lot of fun putting together this new store that will allow us to connect with our customers through a new look and enhanced services that relate to current trends,” said Wernet. “We couldn’t be more excited to re-open our doors, and we hope Lebanon residents enjoy the new restaurant.”
The previous restaurant closed July 19 and was demolished to address the need for a new building, drive through and parking configurations.
The 5,200-square-foot building has a contemporary, new shape based on one of McDonald’s newest restaurant design themes, called the “Arcade” design, a traditional architectural element that defines the front of the restaurant and its main entry.
A new earth-tone color scheme is featured throughout the restaurant’s interior, plus roomier and more comfortable seating available in a variety of configurations. The restaurant will seat approximately 105 customers in a variety of “zones” ranging from quick bar type high seating to unique bench seating.
To enhance the customer experience further, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi service will be available for customer convenience.
A new, remodeled play area for children with the newest playground technology, including pieces that play music such as a keyboard wall, is another addition to the restaurant.
The restaurant’s new drive through is placed toward the rear of property and will feature a double drive-thru to facilitate a faster, easier ordering and pick-up experience. Customers may choose any lane, any time.
