Several items were stolen from a residence in the 4500 block of Shawnray Avenue. Some of those items included two computers, a Nikon camera, $200 in cash, a women’s class ring and XBox and XBox games.
July 23
A Cincinnati man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, and drug abuse after Middletown’s Special Operations Unit pulled him over in the 4300 block of Lefferson Road. The man, Jeremy Gates, 28, was suspected of dealing drugs in the Middletown area. He had $335 in cash stuffed in his socks.
Three air conditioner units were damaged and cooper piping was stolen from the New Era Baptist Church, 1120 Yankee Road. The damage was discovered when it was too hot during church.
Two back tires were stolen off a 1997 green Buick Le Sabre while it was parked in the 3100 block of Barbara Drive.
July 24
A man said during an open house, someone stole more than $4,000 worth of jewelry out of his home. The open house was in early July. The items included two men’s diamond bands, valued at $3,199; a 1/4-karat band, valued at $1,099; and a yellow gold ring, valued at $135.
A female puppy was stolen from the back yard of a home in the 1800 block of Sheridan Avenue.
A Middletown woman went to a local fast-food restaurant and when he returned, there were several men in her residence in the 4700 block of Roosevelt Avenue. She said one of them stole her Acer computer she was renting from Rex Rental.

A gun was stolen from a home in the 2800 block of Wilbraham Road.
