More than 400 P&G jobs moving to area

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble has announced changes that will bring jobs to Butler and Warren counties.

About 445 employees at the Miami Valley Innovation Center in Greater Cincinnati will move to Mason, West Chester Twp., St. Bernard and Winton Hill in the city of Cincinnati, according to a statement issued by the company today, Nov. 9.

The move is being made to centralizing some research and development facilities closer to its core businesses, according to the company.

The decision will increase P&G’s R&D presence in its new $50-million South Boston complex as well as in existing R&D technology hubs in Cincinnati and

Bethel, Conn, according to P&G.

Approximately 145 employees in Lewisburg, Ohio, will move to the Mason and Winton Hill locations. Operations at Needham, Mass., currently home to approximately 105 employees, will transfer to Mason, South Boston, and Bethel, Conn., the company stated.
