Valentine’s Day is still far away. But this weekend you can still find love.

Cincinnati’s largest pet adoption event is happening this weekend. More than 700 animals will be available for adoption under one roof.

My Furry Valentine will host its first summer event at the Sharonville Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 18-19. The weekend-long event will feature hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and other small critters from dozens of shelters and rescue organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area.

The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Driven by a mission to end shelter euthanasia, My Furry Valentine brings nearly 1,000 adoptable animals under one roof to help them find forever homes on International Homeless Animals’ Day. Over the past seven years, My Furry Valentine has found homes for more than 5,000 animals, according to event organizers.
