Museum Virtual Tour

The virtual tour of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force has been updated to reflect new aircraft and exhibits at the museum.

The 360-degree views of the museum’s Air Park now include the C-130E and the C-17.

In the Missile & Space Gallery, online visitors can now see the Minuteman I intercontinental ballistic missile, Defense Support Program satellite and other exhibits that have opened in the past couple of years.

“The museum continually acquires aircraft and artifacts that help tell the Air Force story,” said Bryan Carnes, the museum’s lead for the virtual tour project.

“We are striving to keep the virtual tour as up-to-date as possible so our online visitors can see what’s new at the museum.”

The museum’s interactive 360-degree virtual tour allows users to explore the museum at their leisure through factsheets, supplemental information and educational tools based on the museum’s collection. The tour is available at http://nmusafvirtualtour.com. DIANA BLOWERS, CONTRIBUTING WRITER
