Dayton Children’s Hospital opened its second facility for families north of Dayton.
An outpatient care center opened Monday at 865 W. Market St.
This center will offer lab testing, imaging services and specialty pediatric care such as cardiology, endocrinology, orthopedics, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy, according to a release.
It is 10,800-square-feet with 12 patient visit rooms, an orthopedic rehab gym, a developmental physical therapy gym, a lab and an imaging area.
New employees were added to this site to supplement existing staff and it will also be used as a training site for phlebotomy students from Edison State Community College, which shares the building, the release stated.
“We know convenience is incredibly important to our families, so we continue to look at ways to help them get quality, pediatric care from our expert specialists in the easiest way possible,” said Deborah A. Feldman, President and CEO of Dayton Children’s.
