Ohio attorney general to discuss review of facial recognition program

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost will discuss a review of the state’s facial recognition system during a press conference on Wednesday. Yost will detail its uses and the safeguards that prevent abuse.

Ohio granted the FBI access in 2016 to the state’s database of 2011 driver’s license photos amid objections from the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio and others, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
