Ohio in top 20 for fattest states in America

November is not only the month for Thanksgiving but also National Diabetes awareness so WalletHub created a list of the fattest cities in America.

JAMA Internal Medicine released a report showing that more than three quarter of American adults today are either overweight or obese.

Collectively, Americans are spending up to $315.8 billion annually on obesity-related medical treatment.

Emotional instability, genetics, sleeplessness and lack of physical activity are some of the leading causes for obesity, according to statistics published by the Physical Activity Council.

The analysis WalletHub conducted compared 50 states and the District of Columbia based on 17 key indicators of weight-related issues.
