The investigation so far reveals that the robber passed a clerk at the front of the store and headed toward the rear of the business, where he made his demand for Oxycontin pills.
A clerk at a nearby Shell service station told News Center 7’s Jenna Deery that he saw the robber run out of the CVS and take off south on Far Hills in a dark colored pickup truck.
What’s not clear is whether the robber made off with any pills, money or other merchandise, Plummer said.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who has information about the incident to call Washington Twp. police at (937) 433-0152 or non-emergency county dispatch at (937) 225-4357.
